Hyundai Unveils Ioniq 9, a 3-Row Electric SUV with Advanced Features

Hyundai has unveiled its latest electric vehicle, the Ioniq 9, a three-row SUV with a range of over 300 miles and a suite of advanced features. The new EV is built on Hyundai's E-GMP platform and will come in two versions: Long Range and Performance, each with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive options.The Ioniq 9 boasts a 110.3kWh battery, Tesla Supercharger-supporting North American Charging System ports, and bidirectional charging capabilities. It also features a "living room on wheels" design, with a second row that fully reclines with a leg rest and massage function, and a slidable center console that can move forward and back to make space to walk through to the third row.The new EV will also get over-the-air software updates, a new app store called "Features on Demand," and access to the Ionna charging network, which is backed by eight automakers. Hyundai has not announced final pricing yet, but the vehicle will be built in Georgia at Hyundai's new "Metaplant" in Bryan County, a joint venture between Hyundai and LG Energy Solution.
