Apple Offers Free Repair for iPhone 14 Plus Camera Issue

Apple has announced a new service program to repair iPhone 14 Plus devices affected by a rear camera issue that prevents the camera preview from displaying. The company estimates that only a "very small percentage" of devices are affected, specifically those manufactured between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024.

According to Apple, eligible devices will be serviced for free, and owners can check their serial number on the program page to see if their phone is affected. Additionally, those who have already paid for repairs may be eligible for a refund. The program will cover eligible phones for three years from their original sale date.

This is not the first time Apple has launched a service program to address issues with its products. In the past, the company has offered repairs for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro phones with receiver issues and AirPods Pro with crackling or static sounds. This move demonstrates Apple's commitment to customer satisfaction and quality control.
